Our Achievements

In 2013-14, a total of 375 women benefited from our services, many accessing more than one service and 70-80 benefit on a weekly basis.

All our service users are local - 90% are Bangladeshi and 10% are from other BAME communities (mainly Indian, Pakistani, Somali and other African backgrounds. The age range of our beneficiaries are: 20-29 years: 26 women; 30-39 years: 105 women; 40-49 years: 133 women; 50-59 years: 56 women; 60-73 years: 19 women

2012-13: due to hard work, especially by GBMS volunteers, we have been successful in fundraising and revitalising some of our key services. We are very proud that we can continue to help improve the lives of women from very deprived backgrounds.
